The Dawn of New Hope
The dusk of a old era was dying to a new era rising from the ashes of the old. A old friend of the old world stares beyond the horizon to a strange new one. Breathing heavily in the shadows of a cold tiny winter village, this goblin of old valor raised her eyebrows to the sky as she saw the stars and moon appear into the night sky, the first star appearing to light the way for voyages of the sea. Deep in her mind, Aisena thought that the old should stay dead and those she knew should stay buried in her past. Once a hero, she was twisted and disoriented to lust for death and dispair upon the innocence of the world after the Scourge and after the Lich King had turned her once youthful appearance to something of grim and death, Aisena's mind became nothing more than that of a wild beast thirsting only for blood. Cloaked behind her cold and shadowy hood, her glowing red eyes peered out towards the horizon ever so thinking of what may had happened if she had not been turned into a Death Kni
You're Not A PoetYou’re not a poet because of strung words
Together on row upon row again
Of blank verse or perhaps liberal rhyme.
‘Slam’ all you want, other poets wonder;
Your ignorance of couplets a blunder?
Yes! I speak harshly, but it’s no gross crime,
To point with honesty failed verse of thine.
No real poet discards upper case words;
Lets prose crawl on paper like listless worms.
You seek to free verse of those stern letters,
Sever away bleak capital fetters,
But it doesn’t sing of great speech sublime,
Rather, it sneaks of writing in spare time.
Wait! before you throw me in the icy Rhine;
It’s hard to put verse together in rhyme,
To make our dull words sound great all the time,
Hear them ring out loud, like a clear clock’s chime,
Heralding a poet’s summer prime.
Yet the sacred muses weep at your crime;
Your pentameter mangled thick like slime,
The subject not gilded in raiment fine;
Your bold ink font, crystal waters divine
Tastes bitter to the ton
